Training Approach
Workforce management training is based on a “Train the trainer” philosophy, where key JHAH designated individuals (key super users) are comprehensively trained on all system components that affect their ability to carry out their daily work.
This creates a core team of highly skilled people who can then continue to train the current staff as well as new technical, clinical, clerical and support staff as needed in the future. This type of focused training has been shown to boost enthusiasm and ownership of systems and to assist staff in quickly gaining confidence in the system purchased. At the completion of training, they are then in a great position to pass skills on to other operators.
As the system is extremely integrated it is important to have some Super Users who are experts across all areas of functionality and can understand the impacts of changes in one area of the system upon another area and take responsibility for shared areas such as security levels.
